Ballet

Ballet is a form of dance that requires a special technique that dancers train for many years to learn. Read on to enter the world of the ballet dancer.

Ballet began more than 300 years ago in France. To this day, all ballet steps are in French. Anywhere in the world, even if dancers do not share the same language or nationality, they can always share ballet classes!

Here at FDS we teach classical ballet to boys and girls from the age of 2 through to adult.

Starting at uni-ted level children will follow the UKAA curriculum, which then progresses through lower and upper grade ballet.

If they so wish they can then continue to take theory and teaching exams. Please contact the studio for more information and class times.
